 | (#1) PC Long Tip | PC Long Tip
Tip # 1 on Paramount's chart of tips and plugs
Recommended for all 35MM cameras with PC fittings, and a must for the newer Hasselblad lenses. Fits Hasselblad CF, T-Star and Bronica cameras. Not as tight as our standard PC. The extended, tapered tip allows for easy insertion and removal. The PC Long Tip and PC Long Tip (Gold Plated) are identical except for the gold finish
|
 | (#2) PC Tip (Male) | PC ( male )
Tip #2 on Paramount's chart of tips and plugs
Our most popular style tip, recommended for most professional cameras. Heavier tip construction provides a snug fit with camera or lens.
The PC ( tip# 2 ) is not recommended for Olympus, Minolta, Canon or other 35MM cameras designed for amateur market, for which tip #1 ( PC Long Tip ) is recommended.
|
 | (#3) Rollei lock | Rollei Locking PC
Tip # 3 on Paramount's chart of tips and plugs
Designed for Rollei cameras and flashes with built in spring locking mechanism.
Features a mushroom shape at its tip that automatically locks into camera body or flash until released. Commonly used on older twin lens Rollei cameras. |
 | (#4) Nikon Push lock | Nikon Push lock
Tip# 4 on Paramount's chart of tips and plugs
Fits older classic Nikon cameras that had a internal spring loaded locking mechanism. Excellent for most Nikon cameras, this tip has a heavier metal housing and locks in without the use of the screw-in feature. Can also be used with other professional cameras when clearance is not a problem
|
 | (#5) Honeywell Lock | Honeywell Locking PC
Tip# 5 on Paramount's chart of tips and plugs
Designed for the Honeywell strobes and Honeywell remote sensors, featuring a mushroom shape at its tip that automatically locks in until released. |
 | (#6) Koni Omega Screw | Koni Omega Screw Lock
Tip# 6 on Paramount's chart of tips and plugs
Fits Koni Omega and Rapid Omega cameras. Collar screws directly into housing of the lens for a secure fit that will not fall out. |
 | (#7) Metz PC |
 | (#8) Hasselblad "C" Lens | Hasselblad "C" Lens
Tip# 8 on Paramount's chart of tips and plugs
Fits the older style "C" lens and will not interfere with the quick focus handle (if one is attached). Heavier metal housing prevents common problem of the cord working loose and falling out of the camera. This connector should not be used on any other cameras or lenses but "Hasselblad C lens". (Identification of the Hasselblad C lens: usually silver in color, PC sticks straight out of this lens like a nipple, two rivets hold the PC to the lens.)
|
 | (#9) Vivitar | Vivitar
Tip# 9 on Paramount's chart of tips and plugs
Fits all Vivitar flashes accepting this single pin plug. Tip is inserted into small hole on the side of the Vivitar flash. On Vivitar 285 and 285 HV, the connection is located on side of Hot Shoe. |
 | (#10) Sunpak | Sunpak
Tip# 10 on Paramount's chart of tips and plugs
Fits Sunpak 522 and all Sunpak strobes with single pin plug. For Sunpak flashes with 3 prong plug, our standard HH plug, or 3 prong HH should be used.
Not to be used with Sunpak 383. Use tip no 39 2.5mm straight tip. |
 | (#11) Screwlocking PC | Tip# 11 on Paramount's chart of tips and plugs
Fits Nikon F2, F3, F4, FA, FM, FM2, FM , SB24, SB25, SB26, and all Nikon cameras and strobes with the screw in housing. Also fits Cannon A1, Quantum Radios, Wein Infra Red, Wein products and some Minolta light meters. (Be aware that your equipment may have a screw-in feature; check the PC sync housing carefully for a fine internal thread inside the metal housing surrounding the PC.) |
 | (#12) Tripper Button | Tripper Button
Tip# 12 on Paramount's chart of tips and plugs
Used to manually trip flash units not equipped with built-in trip buttons. Also commonly used for product and commercial photography where multiple "pops" are required for a single shot, to achieve better aperture setting and better depth of field. Also used for timed exposures. |
