The " Custom Y
Cord " is used to join three or more cords together without the
use of slaves or unreliable "octopus" adapters. Some common uses
are: connecting 2 or more flashes to one camera; two or more
cameras to one flash; and two headed cords designed to fit
different cameras/lenses without changing cords. This "hard
wired" approach is the best and most reliable method of linking
cameras and flashes together for both studio and bracket use and
is a cheaper alternative to the radio slaves, and more reliable.
How to build
a Y cord
Type Y cord in the
search menu
1) Click Build...
below.....Pick 3 tips....A + B +
C ( from list )
( 4 tips if ordering a 3 way Y cord )
2) Pick 3 cords ( 3, 5, 16 ft coil or a straight cord any length )
( 4 cords if ordering a 3 way Y cord )
3) Pick 2 way Y connector or 3 way Y connector.
4) Quantity, Add to cart, and click on your shopping cart to follow
order checkout.
Vualla ...You have created a heavy duty custom Y cord exactly the way
